Xfinity X1 Cloud based DVR Innovation for Satisfaction
Comcast has revolutionized the cable industry with its cloud
based dvr system. No longer are the days when customers recorded on a physical
device which would allow them the ability to store limited amount of programs.
They are now able to record and save their favorite programs in higher volumes
courtesy of the Xfinity X1 dvrs. According to the Xfinity website “X1 Cloud DVR
functions just like a regular DVR, but includes new features like the ability
to stream recordings to mobile devices and computers with the XFINITY Stream
app or from the XFINITY Stream portal (www.xfinity.com/stream). In addition, completed recordings

We have been speaking about technological innovation in
coalition with the use of data and the impact they have had on our society. The
main impact though is the fact that there is a level of satisfaction and
convenience that consumers are able to enjoy. When we look at the cable
industry, customers are able to access their services whenever and wherever Wi-Fi
or internet is available, just by having a username and password. Not so long
ago we had the capability of recording a favorite movie or any other event on tv
and watch it whenever we got home. But now the suspense is eliminated because
with a system like the Xfinity X1 we can watch it at our own leisure. The data
is also stored in a cloud based system that can have multiple users who can
share watching the same programs from separate locations. Customers are also equipped with voice activated remote controls and the cable boxes operate over Wi-Fi.
